Weddings in Rome, Tuscany and Amalfi Coast
Looking forward to getting married in Rome and its surroundings, Tuscany, Umbria and Amalfi Coast? We’ve prepared a few tips for you!
Weddings in Tuscany
Tuscany is one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. The gorgeous landscape is a combination of nature and artwork.
The main thing that comes to your mind when thinking of this region is the vineyards that gently cover rolling hillsides, green cypress trees, narrow roads leading to ancient boroughs, castles, and farmhouses. This is the Chianti shire, famous all over the world.
Here we can organize romantic ceremonies with bucolic landscapes inserted into silent and green nature, followed by open-air receptions in stunning castles and country houses with Italian gardens. It is perfect for small intimate parties where we can arrange receptions illuminated by romantic fairy-lights during which you can taste the great local food and wine, another treasure the area offers.
But Tuscany also includes Florence and Siena, two of the most charming cities of art in Italy, with stunning churches and town halls. There you can enjoy the life of the city with the charm of the Tuscan atmosphere. In Florence, wedding venues are hilltop castles, some of them located a few steps from the city – sometimes with accommodations or elegant Medicean villas.
But these are only some examples of interesting areas of Tuscany: we cannot forget Lucca but also Maremma and Versilia, the seaside part of Tuscany.
Weddings in Rome
Now let’s move to Rome! One of the most beautiful cities in the world. Here you can choose between hundreds of churches of any style you prefer together with three town halls for your ceremony and the most beautiful synagogue in Europe – famous all over the world.
In terms of wedding receptions, the city offers beautiful terraces with the amazing views of the city, which is for sure one of the best in the world. The history of Italy lies there.
Otherwise, you can also choose elegant historical villas or castles, authentic restaurants or sleek city hotels.
Weddings in Amalfi Coast
Last but not least: Amalfi coast, one of the most famous, charming and wanted of Italy, a top destination for weddings. Both because of its breathtaking scenario and of the vast number of unforgettable venues perfect for a flawless ceremony and reception, including hotels and villas overlooking the dramatic coastline and deep blue waters of the Mediterranean.
With its pastel-colored buildings clinging to the hillsides above a sparkling blue sea, bright flowers and citrus groves adding a pop of color to the stunning scenario, a wedding abroad in the Amalfi Coast guarantees you a truly gorgeous location.
The best reasons to choose the Amalfi coast as a wedding destination is the number of possibilities you’ll find in the different towns – whether you’re looking for historic venues, a secluded escape or a picturesque spot with plenty of buzz. With southern Italian sunshine, you’re guaranteed a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony too.
Positano is a great option with panoramic views from its town hall. Then we have the tiny Atrani and Maiori, small classic Italian villages. There’s also the amazing and unforgettable Capri, that you’ll reach by boat.
We cannot forget Ravello, with its amazing churches and the town hall where open-air ceremonies can be organized in a beautiful garden overlooking the coast. A unique experience.
Here, everything is reachable on foot and wedding venues are absolutely gorgeous, from the historical villa Cimbrone to palazzo Avino and hotel Belmond Caruso – only to mention the most famous.
Then we have Sorrento which is a picturesque town, maybe the symbol of the area with its olive trees and botanical gardens, perfect for summer outdoor wedding ceremonies.
Last but not least, Amalfi, simply stunning with its narrow streets and the bay that we have admired in thousands of movies of the past, a symbol of Italy in the world. Here, the wonderful cathedral is the dream of anyone who wishes to have a Catholic wedding.
I hope I’ve been able to intrigue you with the description of those beautiful parts of Italy, each of them very different one from the other and that can satisfy all tastes and requirements. Looking for weddings in Rome, Tuscany and Amalfi Coast? Come and have a chat with us!
